How To Make Money As A Life Coach

By:Koz Huseyin

There are many ways to make money as a life coach. Often it can seem like you only have one way to earn money as a life coach, either coaching clients face to face with your own life coaching practice or coaching clients face to face, in a life coaching job. The truth is that there are many ways you can make money. Discover them now!

There are 3 main areas that you can make money as a life coach, here they are:
* Your own life coaching practice
* Life coaching jobs
* Other sources of income

Let's look into these areas in more depth. They all can make money for you, and all offer great potential. Take a look at them and consider if they meet your needs. Then go with the option that seems best for you.

* Your own life coaching practice
A fast way to become a life coach and earn money is to start your own life coaching practice. All that is required is to start.

You now become not only a life coach, but you suddenly also become an entrepreneur and business man or woman. The result is good, it allows you to learn about business, and this can be an essential aspect of coaching your clients. The lessons learned will make a big impact not only in your own life, but in your coaching client's lives also.

* Life coaching jobs
Life coaching jobs can be hard to come by, but when they are available, it is one of the easiest ways to get into life coaching. No longer do you need to do vigorous marketing, you can instead get paid a regular wage or more likely a salary.

There are no headaches with this option. You likely need life coach training and certification to get the position, however the life coaching job will be a secure way to get an income through life coaching.

The problem with life coaching jobs is that they are not prevalent. You can not pick up a newspaper with job listings, and find a job on every page. You likely will not even find a section for life coaching jobs. However, keeping an eye out can result in finding a great position.

A good idea with this is to contact companies yourself. The benefit of doing life coach training, is that you likely will be put in contact with companies that can give you a position or at least learn about how to start your own life coaching practice, and start to get clients.

* Other sources of income
There are other ways of making money as a life coach. These could involve phone coaching, online coaching or even creating a seminar. Think creatively and you can get the word out, about your coaching program.

    You know, in psychology there is a rule, especially within the NLP circles that I work in and the NLP literature that I read, it is quite a famous rule; 7 plus or minus 2 – this is the notion that the conscious mind can only keep track of between 5 and 9 discrete pieces of information at one time. Your unconscious can literally keep track of billions and billions of things at the same time aparently (clever thing that it is!), while your conscious mind is more one step at a time and it has a fairly narrow focus.
