What are the 2 ways to home based business success? Everyone has an idea, a technique, though many work on assumptions. It is true; you may know what makes a successful home based business. However, before that there are only 2 ways.

You either have an idea or you go for a ready made home business. There are benefits and drawbacks to both. Your choice also boils down to your knowledge, skills, abilities, and work ethic.

Some people believe that you need to come up with your own idea, your own business, and build it from scratch to succeed. However, the stats show us an alarming figure. The figures show that businesses fail. Most of the owners interviewed will often state that it was lack of finance, lack of this, that and the other; however, there is something else to it.

Though this article is dealing with the 2 ways, I just want to touch upon that failure rate. Many people to business, whether a home business or one in a retail complex, are usually new to business. It is not like going to school and passing grades. This is a live show!

Most businessmen and women will work at the business, and not spend time to further there own skills, to learn. And here is where I want to bring the benefits and drawbacks of either starting your own home based business or going for a home based business opportunity that is ready made.

You may have an idea for a home business or you may not. Many people try to start home businesses without the necessary knowledge or skills. The result is that problems crop up. Something is forgotten about. The product is not a winning product, etc.

If you have an idea, and you strongly in your heart believe that you will succeed, then go for it! However, if you don't have an idea for a home business, and need help and inspiration, then a home based business opportunity can serve.

The benefit of the home based business opportunity is that it is ready. You invest; you get the information, the blueprint and start. The problem is that most of these business opportunities are very easy to get into. You may only need to invest $100, sometimes less. Then people think $100 is not going to make me rich, and end up putting $100 worth of action into the business, find it doesn't work and gives up.

There are as much failures in a home business opportunity as there are in a from scratch home business idea. The question comes; do you want to earn money soon as possible? A home business opportunity allows you to get up and go. But, if you have a winning idea, then a home business idea of your own can help you win.

Are you willing to give it your all, whether that home based business cost you a few dollars or a few thousand dollars? Both make success, but to succeed it will at the end of the day depend on your commitment.
