Ten Ways To Rapidly Increase Your Sales On The Internet
By:Gregory marathonge
1. When you make your first sale, follow-up with the customer. You could follow-up with a "thank you" email. Customers remember good service and are more likely to buy from you in the future if your service is fast, friendly and courteous. Include some free surprises with your product and include an advertisement for any other products you sell. You can send follow-up every few months promoting your product. Don't send follow-up email too often, as people will start ignoring your emails.
2. You could up sell to your customers. When they're at your order page, tell them about a few extra-related products you have for sale. They could just add it to their original order.
3. Tell your customers if they refer five customers to your website who purchase the product they will receive a full rebate of their purchase price. This will turn one sale into four sales and is a cheap way to get traffic to your site. This can multiply sales, as customers who were referred by someone else will often then refer other customers themselves to get a rebate on the product. This scheme can be can be run as a compliment to an affiliate program. Many people who buy products on the Internet may not be interested in becoming an affiliate marketer. With this system they could refer family, friends, people they work with and save money for themselves and bring more customers to your website.
4. When you sell a product, give your customers the option of joining an affiliate program so they can make commissions selling your product. This will multiply the sale you just made. Having affiliates is like a business employing a salesperson on commission. They only get paid for any sales they make but the more sales they make the more money they make. Affiliates have a great incentive to sell your product because the harder they work the more money they make. If you are an affiliate look for programs with 2-tier payment levels. With 2- tier programs you will generally earn a percentage of any money affiliates you have recruited make. This is similar to the principle above with affiliates you recruit earning money for you.
5. Sell the reprint/reproduction rights to your products. You could include an ad on or with the product for other products you sell. You can make money from the sale of the reproduction rights to your products. You can also include links in the in products you have allowed people to sell to your other products. This method can greatly increase sales of your products, as every copy they sell to someone else will have links to your other products.
6. You could cross promote your product with other businesses' products in a package deal. You can include an ad or flyer for other products you sell and have other businesses selling for you.
7. When you ship out or deliver your product, include a coupon for other related products you sell in the package. This will attract them to buy more products from you. You can also ship out a coupon that states they will get a discount on other products you have but put a time limit on the coupon. This will generally mean people will go visit your website faster as they see the time limit on the coupon.
8. Send your customers a catalog of add-on products for the original product they purchased. This could be upgrades, special services, attachments, etc. If they enjoy your product they will buy the extra add-ons.
9. Sell gift certificates for your products. You'll make sales from the purchase of the gift certificate, when the recipient cashes it in. They could also buy other items from your web site.
10. Send your customers free products with their product package. The freebies should have your ad printed on them. It could be bumper stickers, ball caps, t-shirts etc. This will allow other people to see your ad and order.

As I grew into my teenage years, I found it nearly impossible to make it through week after week without crying a single tear. Since I knew my parents would not...
