Degreaser: One Powerful Solution

By:James Monahan

Stains can be really stubborn as a mule. In fact, it is the most difficult thing to remove especially when doing the laundry. So, in times like this, it is best to use a degreaser. A degreaser is very effective in removing stubborn stains that has already penetrated within the fabric.

Basically, a degreaser is a solution or a chemical material that is used to remove oil, fat, grease, and other fatty items. Degreasers have this special composition that enables them to remove any fat residues left in an item particularly on clothes.

Normally, a typical detergent soap is not enough to remove grease on clothes and any fabrics. When soiled with greasy stains, clothes and fabrics need special cleaning agents that will penetrate deeply within the material and will remove stains with utmost power.

Usually, a degreaser can still work on clothes and fabrics that had been washed already.

All you have to do is to apply a minimal amount of the solution in the material, put a little water and rub it softly. Let it stand for about 15 minutes then rinse. You can clearly see the effect at once especially if the degreaser you have used has a strong dilution.

A degreaser is not only best for removing stains in clothes. It also works best in removing oil residues in your garage.

Normally, oils that have already penetrated in the floor are difficult to remove especially when using an ordinary cleaner. That is why it is best to use degreaser when removing stains on the floor because it is capable of lifting off the stuck oil first before washing them away.

On the other hand, degreasers are not just best in removing oil or other greasy products on clothes, fabrics, or concrete materials.

It is also best in cleaning gas charcoals, in removing films from old plastics, cleaning the mirrors and walls especially those that are behind the oven, cleaning pots and pans, in cleaning sticky areas in your kitchen, or in removing stains, in your sofa or any furniture, left by your pets at home.

It can also be used in killing outdoor insects. You can do this by diluting it with water then spray it over the lawn or in your veranda.

Rock collectors also use this powerful stain remover when eliminating black stains off the rocks. This wonderful solution can make an art object out of an ordinary dirty stone.

Best of all, in spite of its powerful capability to remove the toughest stains, most degreasers are safe to use. They are non-toxic. It is, indeed, a strong solution or concentrate but it is biodegradable at the same time. This means that it will not damage or scorch your hands even if you don not use gloves when using them. Though, it is still important to wash your hands thoroughly after using them.

However, you must still extra caution when choosing the right degreaser in the market. There may be instances that the degreaser being sold in the market may be too strong for your specific needs. So, it's best to consider the material where you will use it. There are instances that degreasers may vary depending on where it will be used.

Nevertheless, it is still the best solution in the market today when removing these stubborn stains. With degreasers, your life is definitely a stain away.
