Practical Business Marketing Uses For Custom Stickers
By:Daniel Millions
Custom stickers are more than just a decoration on test papers they are actually powerful marketing devices. We've all at one point had contact with a sticker- but what if we could create our own sticker designs? We could market products, bands, show support for a cause, and even have a little mischief from thinking outside the box.
Popular Culture and Custom Stickers
One of the recent pop culture hits has indeed been custom stickers. Wikipedia is famed for the phrase Citation Needed. This phrase is used whenever a statement is made without resources to back it up. Eventually, one wise guy thought it'd be clever to print up some Citation Needed stickers and hang them up around town. See an ad for a soda brand claiming to be the best tasting brand? Slap a Citation Neededsticker on it!
But the fun or mischief doesn't stop there. Pranks have made the custom sticker industry quite busy lately. One can purchase bullet-hole stickers, cracked windshield stickers, and other misleading stickers to fool friends with. Some stickers can possibly ruin surfaces, so be careful with who and what you prank.
For a little extra highway fun, custom stickers can be made into bumper stickers. This is a good way to share a joke, something you support, or to let everyone know you have an honor student in the family. Whatever the reason, bumper stickers are a great way to express one's self while coasting down the freeway.
For the busy type, custom stickers may be used to sign and address envelopes. This is great for business professionals and employees alike- since it just takes mere seconds to slap a sticker onto an envelope, rather than write out thousands of addresses.
Promoting Services and Products
Upcoming bands almost always have a supply of stickers handy for promotion. It's a cheap and effective way for listeners to remember a band, and some of the more faithful listeners might even stick these stickers where others can learn about the band. These stickers are especially popular among other musicians, who like to put stickers on their instruments to show support for their favorite bands.
Custom stickers are popular with many car part manufacturers. It allows them to get their name out on the roads with every purchase of their product- as many enthusiasts like to put stickers up on rear windshields to show what's under the hood.
Businesses aren't always able to have access to professional services- as not every business is quite a franchise yet. These smaller businesses can turn to stickers for name tags, napkin holders, coaster decorations, and much more. Given the low cost of custom stickers, this allows small business to stay in competition with more professional franchises.
Websites are also big fans of custom stickers. If a website wants to get visitors, it needs to market itself to the consumer. A good way to do this is to post stickers in and around town for all to view. This isn't always the biggest return on marketing effort, but it can indeed help get the word to spread- and in many cases, word tends to spread farther than one might think.
Custom Stickers: Are They Worth the Effort?
Custom stickers have become quite amusing, cost-effective, and time-saving to all types of people around the world. The low cost of custom stickers makes them reachable by all types of social classes.
Next time you're looking to save a headache, have a little fun, or even promote a product- don't forget the many uses of the custom sticker.
