Dana Morton is perhaps the only homeowner in Kennebunkport, Maine, who can't wait for winter to arrive.

More precisely, he looks forward to enjoying continued energy savings during his third winter with a Baxi wall-hung heating and hot water boiler.

"I'm a big fan of the Baxi Luna boiler, and there's no question I'm looking forward to my third winter with this appliance," says the professional engineer. Fired by gas or propane, the Baxi Luna wall-hung boiler eliminates the need for a furnace with a separate hot water tank. It operates with a soft light burner technology that ensures silent operation and a gradual lighting of the flame. A continuous electronic flame modulation regulates the flame of the burner to the output needed by the user.

The Baxi Luna's fully modulating ability supplies only the BTUs needed to keep the home in its comfort zone. This is the key to the boiler's quiet operation and high efficiency, which cuts monthly utility bills by up to 53 percent.
