Spring Break, What Is The Best Location?

By:Scott Michaels

Spring break is a fun time of year, greatly enjoyed by the young and the um, younger. It’s a relaxing time spent away from the daily grind of studies and the boredom of sitting in classrooms all day, and is a great way for students of all ages to recharge.

For college and university students, spring break is a time to party. It’s a way to let off some steam from the stress of classes, plus it’s just plain fun. Some popular spring break locations include Miami, with its beaches and surfing, and Las Vegas, with many exciting things to see and to do.

For the family looking for popular spring break locations, one of the first places that come to mind is Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida, with its ever popular rides and many sights to see. There is also Disneyland in California, as well as the new California Adventures.

To be sure to get a nice place to stay and a reasonable flight, book a hotel near your spring break location of choice early. Flights do fluctuate, and you may be able to catch a good deal at a seemingly random time, so don’t despair if you run a bit late firming up your airline reservations.

Other spring break locations which might be fun include a trip to the Bahamas, to Hawaii, or maybe even to Alaska. For an educational destination, a trip to New York or Chicago, where there are many art galleries, museums, and cultural events, may be good choices. Great locales abound, and the only difficulty is to choose spring break locations that can be enjoyed for just the few days that a typical school break allows.

A spring break location that might work well for your family is a trip to Mexico – warm, sunny, and full of friendly people. The resorts of Mexico are appealing spring break locations because your primary purpose in going there would be to relax. Many travel agencies offer all inclusive packages that include everything from flight and accommodation to meals and beverages.

Spring break locations abound for the family that is looking for fun. There are many educational or outdoor adventure based spring break locations you can choose from as well – an outdoor adventure or a trip to go rock climbing or skiing can be a great way to spend time as a family or for a college student to have fun with his or her friends.

Regardless of where your final destination is, you can be assured that the break from school and work will be welcome.

Our Pauper loves to save money using an airfare consolidator. These consolidators contract with airlines to get tickets at cheaper rates than the general public. Because they buy large blocks of tickets the airlines love them. Though you can get really good deals by knowing how to use consolidators, remember they are not structured for great service.
