Ever had problems getting approved for a credit card? Most people have. We all know that credit cards tend to be very decisive on whom they will let “carry” their card. That’s why many companies are offering bad credit, low interest, and pre-paid credit cards. There is so much information on credit cards these days that you never know where to begin when looking for a good card.
One of the most important things you NEED to do before applying for a credit card is READ! Carefully read through the credit card terms. While reading these terms you will find information on such terms as; Annual Percentage Rate(APR),which is a measure of the cost of credit, this must be disclosed to an invidual before they even apply to a credit card. It will tell you about Annual Fees.
Not all cards have annual fees, but some cards do and will charge anywhere from $25 up to $100 on up. A lot of cards also charge you for other fees such as transaction fees as well as late payments. Some other things to look for when applying for a credit card are Rewards cards, (such as fequent flier miles, groceries and gas) as well as Cash Back Rewards which is currently making a extremely large breakthough . Some you can even earn 5% cash back on purchases at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations.
