Unleashing your Potential

By:Frankie Picasso

Every single one of us is born with potential. It may not be the same potential (we can’t all be artists or singers), but we all have our own unique gift or value proposition that is waiting to be found and nurtured.

Are you one of those people they said had potential? Were you the college football star, the math genius or the leading lady in the school production? Are folks wondering 10 years later what happened to you? Why you didn’t make it, with all that talent? How many people do you know l
ike that, people who had great potential but are still keeping it on a tight leash today waiting for “who knows what”? Perhaps you are one of them. If you are, I highly encourage you to rethink your reasons for doing so and start living out your potential.

You may be asking yourself then, where and how do I start?
The first step is to find out Why you are holding on to your potential so tightly. Ask yourself, What is holding you back from your greatness?
Remember, we ALL have potential. Not just a few of us.
One of the biggest reasons that people hold back is because of FEAR.Fear of being successful, fear of failing, fear of the unknown, fear of having to keep up the good work. Does this sound like you? If so, you just brought light and consciousness to something that has been hidden for a long time. Good Start!!!

Now, in order to unleash your greatness, you will need to clean house and make room for your expansion program. You see, what you focus on, expands. Starting today, you are going to focus on your greatness and that is going to take up a lot of room, so let’s get started.

You are going to need to shed your self- limiting beliefs,, commitments to actions that no longer serve you , face truths that may be unpleasant and get rid of fears that no longer work. DO NOT let this scare you. You do not have to do this by yourself. Consider hiring a Life coach. Having a good Life Coach in your corner can give you the courage and the support you need to take these actions now and insure your success.

Once the clutter is gone, you now have room to unleash that great big whirlwind of potential that is YOURS. Nurture it, revel in it and most of all, use it! However, there is one caveat, and that is the price you will need pay for your happiness. This has nothing to do with money and is small change for what you get in return- the opportunity of walking into your greatness. Curious? Well the price of greatness is being willing to take risks, to express yourself, to take a chance at failing, to go through uncomfortable circumstances – and that’s the thing most people aren’t willing to do. You cannot by- pass the process. You can however think of exchanging one negative for a whole lot of positives.

When you start living up to your potential and unleash your greatness, you will feel settled, secure and more confident then you ever have before in your life.Everything will just seem to 'fit' and you will feel like you finally found your way home.
