Three Steps for Simple Adware Spyware Uninstall
By:Daryl Moore
Adware spyware uninstall is necessity due to the sheer volume of threats that are attached to our computers from everyday use. From surfing to free downloads, it does not take long before our computer performance is decreased and we are getting redirected to websites we did not request.
If you are experiencing slow computer problems, continuous pop-ups from advertisers, or a crashing and freezing PC, you are a good candidate for an adware spyware uninstall.
The following three steps will assist you in your quest to get your computer running like new again.
Step One: Determine What Problems You Are Having and Make a List
Some of the symptoms related to adware and spyware threats are files opening randomly, annoying toolbars and pop-ups are loaded automatically, keyloggers tracking your personal information through your keystrokes, your PC is under the control of browser hijackers and you cannot control the sites you are directed to, your system is instable and crashes or freezes at various times, or your systems settings are being changed, but not by you.
Write down any of the previous issues that you are experiencing so that you can use them as a comparison point when your system is fixed (after the final steps).
Step Two: Run a Free Scan to Determine if Threats Exist
The best anti spyware and anti adware software programs will check for spyware, adware, malware, keyloggers, browser hijackers, Trojans, worms, and pop-up generators. You can scan your entire system without pulling out your credit card.
If threats are detected the parasites will be listed by severity level on your scan results page. You can then choose which ones to keep and which ones to rid of. Make sure to use a file back up feature that most quality software programs provide.
It is wise to avoid completely free software as the EULA (End User License Agreement) often has you consenting to having even more adware and spyware on your system. Most people never read the EULA and agree to being inundated with adware that even tracks your online behaviors. Free sounds great until your problems multiply.
Step Three: Purchase the Full Version and Repair Your System
If errors are detected (especially non-cookie and severe threats) it would be wise to pay for the repair function in the software used for the scan and get your system cleaned. The nice part is that the best anti adware spyware uninstall software programs have long-term licenses so that you can repeat the scanning and repair process weekly (or more) throughout the year.
Again, free software gives you what you are paying for. Look for free up front scans, but be prepared to purchase a quality download on the back end.
Once you perform the repair on your system, be sure to go into the software settings and have your system scanned at intervals that are convenient to you. This is a good practice. Also limit your visits to borderline sites that have the potential to install additional adware and spyware. It goes without saying to watch downloads for the reasons stated.
To finish the process, restart your computer for the changes to take place. Go back to your list and see if many of the items are fully resolved. A good adware spyware uninstall is always a positive even if 100 percent of the problems do not dissolve on the first round.
