What is Good about Beach Wedding?
By:Jerry Leung
Beach wedding is becoming more popular. Both you and your guests can enjoy the beautiful scene of the seaside. You can also walk, or even run on the beach with the bare foot. There are a lot of advantages for a beach wedding. The followings are the most essential advantages.
Less Formal
This is certainly the number one advantage of a beach wedding. As discussed above, both you and your guests can walk on the beach with the bare foot. Everything can be less formal. The wedding cake can be less formal. The wedding invitation can be less formal. The reception can also be less formal. It really suits couples who do not like a wedding which is too formal.
Because it is a less formal wedding, the dressing code of the guests can also be a bit casual. Some guests will even thank you when you are hosting a beach wedding because they may not like formal dressing. I myself am one of such guests.
Sometime children can be quite annoying in a formal wedding. Of course we should never blame the children for that. It is just because they are still small and they may not know and understand the importance of etiquette well. However, this will not be any problem for a beach wedding. The children can even play and have fun on the beach.
Save Money
According to surveys an average wedding will cost about USD27,000. This is quite a large amount of money. You may need to seek for wedding loans if you find this a financial burden to you. A beach wedding, however, can cost you less money.
For the reception of a beach wedding, you will probably adopt the idea of buffet or food station reception because it serves the purpose of a beaching wedding - to make the wedding less formal. And at the same time such a reception will be a lot cheaper than a formal reception because you can easily organize the stuff yourselves and eliminate the spending on the caterer.
Besides, since a beach wedding will probably host in daytime, what you are going to prepare is either breakfast or lunch for the guests. This results in saving in money since it will be more expensive to prepare dinner for the guests.
Convenient
Some couples will have their wedding ceremony and reception in two separate venues. This can be quite inconvenient. A beach wedding can totally solve this problem. You can have your ceremony and reception at the same place on the beach.
This is not only convenient to you but also your guests. Both you and your guest can enjoy a longer time of getting together because they do not need to waste their time on traveling. This means that you can really share the romance and sweet moments with your guests. At the end of the day the most essential meaning of a wedding is to share the joy and happiness together.
If you are going to invite only a limited number of guests, it will be even simpler because you do not need to "book" and reserve the beach in advance.
