No Traffic = No Sales
Don't spend your time fooling with banner ad programs and search engine submission services only to see your counter move a little with no sales. Banner ads seem nice - but generally are not effective. Often, only about 1% (or less!) of the people who see a banner ad will click on it. As for search engine rankings, well you probably already know how difficult that is.
The best way to generate sales: buy guaranteed traffic!
Lets assume you have a product that sells for $10. If you purchase 100,000 guaranteed visitors you would make $1,000.00 based on a 0.1% (one tenth of one percent) response rate. Imagine if you were to get a 1% or higher response!
You MUST be carefull when you choose your traffic provider!
There are many ways to drive traffic to your website. You can buy traffic from scam-vendors that will pummel your website with hits from automated programs. This will increase your hits but will it increase your bottom line? Probably not. The traffic you buy is visitors you pay for, not hits to show high counters!
The choice to do consists in the highest targeted traffic as possible: language, interests, countries... Do you think that spanish people will read an english blog, or Norvegians will be interested in debt-consolidation in UK? Of course, NO!
If you buy very cheap traffic, you will get very deceptive results: raw untargeted traffic is only dedicated to a better Alexa Ranking or higher CTR in Google Adsense!! You can spend money to PPC advertising, banner impressions, text ads... These methods take time to generate sales, but targeted traffic is an insurance to get immediately qualified visitors to your website! A qualified visitor could be a customer, and even your website is a brand new one, it will be shown.
Lets take a look on a realistic ratio:
You buy 100,000 targeted visitors:
0.1% buy your product at a $10,00 unit value - 100 sales - 1,000.00
1% buy your product at a $10,00 unit value - 1,000 sales - 10,000.00
5% buy your product at a $10,00 unit value - 5,000 sales - 50,000.00
The highest targeted traffic gives the highest ratio... Imagine the results with 1,000,000 visitors???
Why buying targeted traffic may not work for you?
- you have no product to sell...
- you have a low interesting product or unvaluable service to offer...
- your website seems too "cheap" and visitors run away!
- you bought very unexpensive traffic with no real target...
Targeted traffic is expensive, so be sure you are able to maintain a goodstanding hosting service for your website, and that your e-shop script is working well!
My most important advice: give only a try to a traffic provider, first! Never buy 100,000 visitors, even you are rich, at the first time you work with: buy a small quantity campaign, check your statistics daily...
There are many other ways to get traffic to your website, if you have no product or service to sell, that are less expensive or free to apply. You'd better to use its for your informative websites or free blogs. When you pay for targeted traffic, you spend hard cold cash in order to get results: sales and benefits!
Before you pay for targeted visitors, check these tips:
- buy highly targeted traffic, not raw traffic, if you need immediat results
- buy only 24H unique visitors if your goal is not to increase your ranking
- buy a small size campaign to start a new deal with a traffic provider
- pay online thru a reliable ecurrency platform (avoid anonymous credit card services!)
What will happen if you are not satisfyied with your campaign?
Traffic providers will never refund your purchase; buying guaranteed traffic, you accept the risk that visitors dont buy your product or service. Check your Visitors Stats on your server and compare the real traffic you got with the traffic you bought: if the count is right, keep in mind that your traffic provider may be responsible as well as you could made a mistake: bad targeting, bad product, bad moment...
Online sales are not easy to finalize, even with a good product or service, a nice website, a cheap price...
Buying guaranteed targeted traffic is one of the best solution to reach your marketing goals with a new and unknown website, but Website promotion is a vital area in internet marketing that you should learn to master immediately. Your website is your HQ on the web, and as such, should be made prominent at the soonest possible time. The more people who would know about your website, the more free visitors you would have.
You will get visitors if you buy a traffic campaign, but remember that you will need to keep them: Your website should always be up and running. It is to your advantage if you maintain your website with new articles and updated features. Maintain a clean layout and check for broken links, images and pages. If they always find what they want and need, they will surely be coming back each time. Additionally, search engine spiders love a site with changing content!
Success in online business is not a "lucky game"! It seems to be easy, because you stay at home, but keep in mind that this is a job that needs hard work!
