For example, a Bachelor of Science in Health Arts is a completion program mostly for dental hygienists, radiologic technologists, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, or other health care professionals who are looking to add a liberal arts education to their previous health science background. It would not be a typical path to follow if you wanted to go into emergency medicine, for example. Some options offered are specifically for health professionals looking to move into leadership or managerial positions. These would not be undergraduate programs and are not typically chosen by those looking to enter the medical field. By the same token, if you are looking to become a medical doctor, a program offering a PhD is probably not the direction you should take.
