In the age of the internet, e-cards have quickly replaced the traditional paper greeting cards as the means of greeting others or simply telling them you care. There are numerous websites offering electronic greeting cards but I have to say that 123 Greetings (http://www.123greetings.com) is one of the best out there. For one thing, it is totally free! Many other sites offer e-cards but only several of their selections are free. You need to subscribe in order to have access to the more attractive ones they have. With 123 Greetings, you can choose whatever you want and not worry about having to pay for it.
Even though everything is free, it doesn’t mean that you get cards with bad taste. In fact, most of the e-cards available are very attractive. They have a very wide range of selections that cater to every taste and preference there is. The site offers different types of greetings for almost any occasion there is. Birthdays, holidays, and even everyday cards, you can find them all here.
A big plus for this site is that they find something to celebrate for each day! Who ever heard of Fast Food Day? Rubber Eraser Day, anyone? This concept certainly adds spice and fun to anyone’s average boring day.
The homepage has an extensive list of links for the categories they offer. The page design is pleasing to eyes and easy to navigate. Cards for relevant holidays and events are placed in such a way that the user sees them without any problems. Still don’t see the card that you want? You can search for them using keywords in the upper left corner of the page. You will then be presented with a wide array of e-cards that match your search words.
The page and the cards do not take too much time to load so you will not be frustrated with waiting. You can customize each card to suit your taste. Fonts are changeable and so is the background. You can even change the music if you want to. For your reference, a copy of your card can be sent to you and you can choose to be notified when the recipient views the card.
On the downside, many of the designs are on the cute, mushy side. If your personality is a bit darker than most, you might not want to choose e-cards from 123 Greetings.
