What's Behind Door Number Three?
By:Gary Gerasimon
The woman's eyes get really wide. Her heart is pounding with anticipation.
She almost can't take it any longer as the game show host puts his hand on her shoulder.
What's she going to win today? Perhaps it's going to be a beautiful, shiny new car. Maybe a new bedroom set. Or it could be one of those incredible vacations to some faraway paradise in the Carribean.
The host takes a deep breath and says, "Ok, let's see what's behind door number three!"
That scenario works on a TV game show. But not when it comes to Internet marketing. There are a zillion different ways to generate traffic to your website when it comes to marekting online. Some of them work great. But most will get you lousy results - or worst yet, no results at all.
One of these methods is called building doorway pages. This is the way it works. You get a program to help you design and create very basic webpages.
What you're trying to do is build individual pages that are focused on specific keywords.
Then, you write a list of your top keywords, build pages around them, and submit the pages to the search engines on a regular basis.
The ultimate goal of using this technique is that you want to create hundreds - or even thousands of keyword-rich doorway pages that lead to your main website.
Website owners have used these types of pages over the years to fool the search engines and get free traffic when an Internet surfer types their keyword into the search engine.
Let's say your website sells computer training services. One of the doorway pages you've created is completely focused on the keyword phrase "learn more about computers". You submit that webpage to Google, for example.
Then, someone searching on Google types in that
specific keyword phrase. Your "learn more about computers" webpage comes up, but then the user is directed to your main website.
You might be thinking that this is the most ingenious marketing method you've ever heard of. It's brilliant. All you need to do is some research on where to find the software to do this and you'll be rich. Your site will be overloaded with visitors.
It's called cloaking software - because your main site is cloaked - or hidden - from view, and the visitors are sent to another page first.
I've just given you the key to the kingdom - you're on your way to the big time. Start counting the money. Put in your notice at work. Call up that steakhouse and make reservations. Go ahead...life is short.
You're in the money now, right? Well, wait a moment. Don't call the steakhouse just yet.
Think about it from the perspective of the search engines (which by the way, have massive power these days on the Internet - especially Google). If people started using this method to create all these keyword-rich doorway pages, the results from searches would be filled with junk pages that don't have any real content.
And that's exactly what has happened the last few years. Tens of thousands of these "garbage" pages were created by people trying to get more traffic to their site. And the major players like Google began cracking down, deleting and banning hundreds of these webpages from their search engines.
What's the bottom line? Don't do it. It's not worth it. The technique is ineffective and it'll just
get you in trouble.
I provide a much more effective resource in my free "Truth About Traffic" report at my website that will show you how to easily add webpages to your site that are content-rich, instead of keyword-rich, pages.
The search engines love content and you'll find that your pages will get indexed quickly and last for years in the search engines if you do this. Fill your pages with content instead of keywords and you'll get more traffic than you can handle.
When it comes to opening doors to unlock the key to wealth, stick to game shows like Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right. Or you'll be in Jeopardy.

A psychic has some special powers that ordinary people don’t have. Some psychics are able to predict the future, others can communicate with the recently deceased. Some psychics are telepathic, others have the ability to exorcise ghosts.

Growing up, my siblings and I were never aloud to cry even just one tear. No matter how sad, mad or hurt we were, tears were never allowed. We were told that truly tough people didn't shed a tear no matter how bad life got. Tears, our parents said, were for wimps and people who weren't strong enough to handle life.
As I grew into my teenage years, I found it nearly impossible to make it through week after week without crying a single tear. Since I knew my parents would not...
