Various Types of Erectile Dysfunction Medicine
By:Simon Chan
In fact the scientists are of the view that it is the MOST important factor that induces the couple to fall for each other in the first place and then help them to sail through their relationship.
While most of the people will agree that the absence of normal sex life may culminate into most tragic consequences, most of the people will differ in their opinion as to what makes for a normal and healthy sex life. But most of them will agree on the point of what makes for an abnormal sex life; at the core it is the inability of one of the partners to help the other to reach the orgasm. Just like female sexual frigidity is a cause enough to end a sweet relation, the same way male sexual inefficiency can lead to most devastating consequence.
But most of the couples could have avoided the tragic ending in their love stories had they resorted to medical help at the right time. Actually men act out of ignorance as it comes to any kind of sexual inabilities. The male sexual inadequacies can take three main forms: erectile dysfunction, lack of libido and problems relating to quick ejaculation.
All these inefficiencies, especially the erectile dysfunction can be successfully treated by medications. With the rising curve of male impotency, the medical science has been taking great interest in this field and the result is the invention of some path breaking drugs that literally enable you to enjoy the erotic pleasures all through your life.
Depending on the mode of their action and the type of chemicals used in them to promote erection, ED medicines can be classified into three broad categories.
ED in some men is the result of psychological complexities. In some men ED is the outcome of nervous damage or hormonal imbalance. But for most of the men, ED is the consequence of vascular deterioration that inhibits blood flow in the penis, which is the prerequisite for the firmness of the organ. Depending on the approach of the problem, the ED medicines can be of different types.
1) The celebrated drugs trio---Viagra, Levitra and Cialis--- are based on the principle of rectification of the vascular irregularities. Erection is the sum total of two processes; flow of blood into penis and sustenance of the blood there for some time. This blood flow is conditioned by the release of a chemical called nitric oxide. Nitric oxide starts releasing as a result of any kind of sexual stimulus. But there are certain enzymes that try to neutralize the action of nitric oxide. The aforementioned drugs contain chemicals that support the undisrupted flow of nitric oxide that in turn stimulates blood flow into the penis to make it firm.
2) Some men experience ED due to low level of natural testosterone. The yohimbine hydrochloride, dopamine and serotonin agonists, and trazodone based drugs can help raise the hormone level to help in the process of erection.
3) Some people prefer to take drugs through injection. These medicines contain the chemicals like papaverine hydrochloride, phentolamine or and alprostadi. These medicines are quickly absorbed into the penis and promote erection almost immediately by widening the blood vessels.
4) There are also those Prostaglandin and phentolamine based medicines that help in the relaxation of smooth muscle vascular dilation. These medicines are often come in the form of suppository capsules that can be inserted into the urethra to achieve erection.
Millions of men around the globe are using these medicines to get back the life full of sexual vigor. Don't join the band wagon of the fools who shy away from addressing the problem of sexual irregularities; rather emerge as a winner by availing the opportunity of advanced ED medication.
