A Luxurious Spa Experience at Six Senses
By:Richard Rspad
There are spas and then there are SPAs! If you are looking for the ultimate pampering experience, the Six Senses spas offer a unique and luxurious experience.
A Luxurious Spa Experience at Six Senses
Every so often, you just have to splurge on a spa experience. I am talking about the type of spa where you get a massage on a beach in front of crystal clear water. The type of a spa where you are so relaxed, you cannot even begin to think about returning to normal life. The multiple retreats of the Six Sense rejuvenation centers are just such a place.
Six Senses are part of multiple resorts in the world, to wit, they act as the spa section of larger resort destinations. . The company offers an over the top spa experience designed to leave you in a state of pure bliss. The spas get their name from their philosophy of treating all six of your sense. The first three senses are touch, sound and sight. The next two are taste and smell. The final one is the elation felt when the previous five are balanced. This balancing effort is achieved through a variety of treatments such as full body Indian massages, holistic cleansings and detoxifiers. The settings, however, are what really set Six Senses apart.
The Six Senses in Crete is a site to behold, relaxing in and of itself. Located at Porto Elounda, the spa is located on a hilltop overlooking the bay of Elounda. The architecture is classic wood spa style with the tiered resort reaching down to the water. Amazingly peaceful pools with amazing tile designs lend to the feeling of relaxation. Treatments include day packages or full blown stays with four treatment programs focusing on love, clarity, luxury and revival.
The Soneva Fushi Resort and Six Senses spa in Maldives is one of the highest rated in the world. This spa has a distinct no shoes, no news attitude that exemplifies its laid back nature. The grounds are peaceful and quiet with the external world being shut out. This beach hideaway spa is isolated, but luxurious. You will stroll on the white beaches of Maldives down to the water for a relaxing swim in crystal clear water. When done with your swim, you can head back up to the spa for treatments ranging from vitally treatments to traditional massages. This spa, however, is known for Ayurvedic Treatments. Ayurvideic is a form of Indian herbal treatments to rejuvenate the body while preventing illness. Daily yoga and meditation treatments can be incorporated to give you a full rejuvenation experience.
If you are looking for the ultimate in spa experiences, it is hard to go wrong with any of the Six Senses spas. Prices aren’t cheap, but they are worth every penny.

Our Pauper loves to save money using an airfare consolidator. These consolidators contract with airlines to get tickets at cheaper rates than the general public. Because they buy large blocks of tickets the airlines love them.
Though you can get really good deals by knowing how to use consolidators, remember they are not structured for great service.
