A Bucket Full of Memories and Worth Its Weight in Gold

By:James Monahan

Moments are snapshots of our everyday lives. Some of us make moments and there are others that keep it. Some people take it and some share it. Whatever we choose to do with our moments is entirely up to us, what’s important is that everyone has one to remember and every one of them our own. Today technology allows us to have more than a million ways to enjoy capture moments that really matter. Before we used paintings, portraits, even sketches to capture some of those moments and enjoy the years gone by as we glimpse at them. Because memories and moments are precious people have devised ways on how to preserve them for more than what they normally last.

This introduced to us the use of a camera to capture them even faster. Just like a bucket that catches raindrops as it falls from the sky, cameras were made to make capturing those precious moments without standing still trying to get our poses right. And just like a bucket that has the ability of drawing water from a well or a stream, cameras gives that ability to draw up snapshots in larger quantities faster than before. But of course cameras back then were like a firing squad. Gunpowder was needed to provide the exposure of the images to the film.

That’s what started people thinking of making better ways of capturing real life images without having line them up and shooting them. The introduction of the lens type camera was the leap forward that we have been dying to take. Now the bucket has its own motor and the people couldn’t be more thankful. The camera has made its way through the modern ages and has certainly found itself more useful than just the plain bucket that gathers rainwater or draws the drinking water from the well. Since it first snapped it shutter, the camera has been a powerful tool that captures not only everyday events but also pictures of life that rocked the history books. Cameras have been used not only to capture little kids first trip to the barber, but also events that made an impact to the way people think and see other societies that exists beyond the great American soil.

And the development of the miniature time machine has never stopped since then, today we have cameras that can both take still pictures and streaming videos these are the more popular hybrids of the old manual cameras. Cameras integrated into mobile phones so people can always carry around something handy, because as they say you’ll never know when you have something great happening.

And there are digital cameras the size of cigarette packs, though you must admit that there are still smaller versions that you’ve probably seen. And if you don’t have the time to print out your pictures or you don’t have enough space in your computers to store every picture of your kid, your wife and you there are dozens of online photo buckets where you can create tons of albums in.

Online photo buckets are even much more convenient and practical than home personal photo buckets in your computer or laptop. In case you’re wondering what a photo bucket actually is, photo buckets are like real buckets that can hold your pictures online. It’s like an online photo album that doesn’t require you to get down and dirty in storing your photos. Each bucket has its own memory space so you’ll know exactly how many photos you can put. And the online photo buckets are easier to manage other than photo albums. This gives you the ability to shoot more memories and not ever worry about running out of space. So what on earth are you still doing there sitting and reading this? Grab your camera and make some more memories.
