By you referring your clients to their services and they to yours you have formed a mutually benefinacial alliance. As both businesses have gained the confidence of their customers then they are more open to suggestions about other services from than they would be from more unsolicited methods.

There are many ways to find networking partners but the best one is to start with business owners you already know and trust. Potential clients will attach a lot more weight to your recommendation if you use their services yourself. By building a rapport from your networking partners by sending them new sources of revenue then they are more likely to reciprocate this back thus increasing your own sales volumes.

Now with an online business this can create huge volumes of new customers if done correctly by affiliating your self with your own businesses service and product suppliers then the creditability of your referral is enhanced greatly. By then convincing your affiliate partner to reciprocate your actions it increases their creditability as well. The more partners you can strike up this type of situation with the more traffic flows to your site. This is far more effective than just a simple exchange of links by adding your testimony that you use them yourself its more likely to produce a positive result than just a visit our friends link.

If there is a good explanation why you might be unable to meet your obligations then ensure you give feedback in advance its far less damaging to your reputation than an apology afterwards.
