Help Yourself to Get Rid of Erectile Dysfunction
By:Simon Chan
It's the most frustrating point in a man's life when he stops to feel the erotic sensation anymore. It becomes even more frustrating when the man has the sexual desire all right but lacks the ability to reach the climax of the sensation through orgasm. Often this sexual inability of a man relates to the erectile dysfunction.
In the face of rising incidences of male sexual disabilities, the subject of erectile dysfunction seems to find a ubiquitous presence in the magazines, in the internet and where not? But most of the people lack clear idea about what erectile dysfunction actually means and what the safest methods are to get rid of this frustrating inadequacy.
Let's explain the meaning of erectile dysfunction in the simple language.
Sexual intercourse is the climax of the erotic pleasure shared by a couple, but much of the erotic sensation originates in our brain. The vascular and the nervous system also work along with it to help perform the sexual activities. Add to it the psychological factors that in the first place induce a man and a woman to indulge in the game of sex with each other.
Now as far as the men are concerned, any kind of physical or psychological stimulation (touch or fantasy) leads to the rush of blood to the penis. As a result of increased blood flow and its pressure, the penis becomes engorged and expanded.
This of course makes the penis firm and rigid suitable for making the intercourse. But in order to control the point of ejaculation, the blood must stay there for some time. Erectile tissues are made of elastic sheathes called tunicae that takes care so that blood does not leave the penis during erection.
When the man reaches to the climax of intercourse followed by ejaculation, blood automatically is released, the pressure subsides and with that the penis ceases to remain erected any more.
Now erectile dysfunction arises when the penis, in spite of sexual stimulation, fails to get firmer enough to perform the act of intercourse. Now, erectile dysfunction may be of several types; a man can be totally unable to achieve erection, he can experience the trouble from time to time, or simply he may be unable to sustain the erection for the adequate time. All these are different forms of erectile dysfunction that requires to be treated differently.
Whatever may be the type of erectile dysfunction that a man is suffering from - here is a solution for every erectile problem. The solution however depends on the cause of the dysfunction.
The causes can be detected clinically. In certain cases, the dysfunction may have its roots in the psychological milieu. Some men experience ED simply because of the hormonal imbalance. Some men on the other hand lose their erectile abilities due to damage of nervous system. The most important factor causing ED however relates to low level of blood supply into the penis due to vascular dysfunction or defects of blood vessels.
Now let's end the discussion with the most important point: ED can be successfully treated at any age. Today's men have been able to shake off their inhibitions of seeking help for sexual inabilities. What are you waiting for? Join the league of millions of ED patients who have come back to normal life following a successful treatment and rejuvenate the relationship with your partner.
