Other one problem for the SLR cameras is that the warranty seems to run out before the camera has any real significant problems. In this case, it might be better to buy the extended warranty on any SLR camera. It is always best to read the reviews to see if any users have any problems other than user error before buying any make or model camera. Digital SLR cameras are great, but they can be harder to understand than your point-and-shoot cameras.
