Always be prepared to put yourself in the customer's shoes and make sure that satisfying their needs is what your business is doing. Good marketing means having to the ability to change your point of view so that you always understand your customer, empathize with your customer, relate to your customer, and most importantly, love your customer. Not understanding what people want is the exact reason why most businesses never make enough money. People are always willing to pay you if you can satisfy their needs and desires, remove their frustrations, fears or concerns.

Why did you choose not to purchase from us this time?

What makes someone a marketing genius? Well, the biggest thing is studying your customers. Go out and sit face to face with your customers. Show them you care and value their business. Do small things that cost you very little but means a lot to your customer. When you show value towards them, this is what keeps them coming back.
