Importance of Perseverance
By:Stephen Campbell
Perseverance can be defined as continuity in regular tasks or ideas in spite of several complications or difficulties. It can also be defined as being able to bear difficulties calmly without complaint. It is a commitment, endurance, patient and hard work. In other words if happiness ranks superior than wealth, a person should not persist in making money in many ways which may become the reason for personal unhappiness.
If making money is ranked superior than a particular business, then he might need to quit the business when he may see a better way. He should always maintain persistence in the pursuits of personal values however not necessarily in the means to achieve them. Perseverance can be seen when he tries out something in which he was not successful at the first attempt or when spending hours studying and working hard to raise self grade.
Values of Perseverance
Perseverance is the basic thing everyone should learn and also the last thing to forget. The ability to preserve against all odds is the most important character trait of a successful people. The power of perseverance is more magical and incredible than one could ever begin to imagine. Taking single step makes a person feel he is able to do it, even going one minute longer than makes the person he could possibly come earlier and doing more thing extra may make the person think that it is possible. No one knows when the next step will be the one that gets everyone where they want to go. So many people quit one yard from the touch down and one step from the finish. Never stop doing, no matter what the hardships and what it may cost when one can find a dream within the heart.
Walking with Perseverance
The days of real life can be a testing ground for most of the people in the world. The day to day sufferings and trials of life become like the furnace burning away the impure elements in everyone's life. A person who feels that he is happy-go-lucky sort of a guy and when depression sets in like a heavy mist over his life it can be demanding. Perseverance is not a shoot up knowledge. One can master this goal by setting certain tools with just a little concentration and thinking. A person must think about the work which he wants to do and then focus his efforts on the smaller steps and later he will surely be amazed at what he can achieve. Actually perseverance is a matter of doing something in a well organized manner.
Perseverance can be a habit if one starts to have confidence in what ever they do. When we consider a world famous athlete or a popular artist, perseverance is essential in his or her performance. When one believes that they are gifted for something then their energy levels rise astronomically. And when one attains success at the smaller things their confidence level also rises proportionally. One can say that perseverance is to maintain efforts and gain success by taking steps in a well organized manner. By taking one-step at a time, we can be amazed at what we can achieve.
