Should You Upgrade To A Flat Screen Monitor?

By:Gregg Hall

Flat screen monitors for computers are not just a tech advance they are something new that just came out since the old monitor came out decades ago. I think that we have been using regular monitors for forever now. Just before I moved from Texas to Florida I had an old big computer screen. Now I have a 22 in Samsung flat screen and it works perfectly. I am glad I gave up the old one because flat screens just give you so much more space for your desk area and for having your business area clean.

They will not only save you space on your desk but the quality of the picture from the screen will be your best buy for awhile to come. The screen itself will be the best thing that you could spend your money on since computers were invented. Even though they do save space on your desk you might have to buy a new graphics card to make the picture even better for your flat screen.

Moving out the old monitor that you were using will free up so much space you will have no idea why you didn't upgrade sooner. I know I was like wow I have so much more space now. I can actually play counterstrike now without having my hands almost falling off the desk.

I think flat screen computers will also be a little bit more durable then the regular computer screens. You have a projector set up in the old screens but with this new kind it's a whole different ball game people you just need to buy one to realize the greatness of its picture quality.

The other con about regular computer screens is they will start to get hot if you were to sit in front of them all day and try to work on your computer. They collect radiant heat and will keep building heat until you just get up and go away from the computer screen. You will be glad you bought a new flat screen for your computer at home or at work it will do all the difference and you will enjoy it way more then the old heavy thing.

The newer computer screens that we have today they have a better screen resolution and can take a higher resolution if you were to either buy a graphics card or buy two computer screens and have them both setup to the same computer. You might also want to get an SLI ready motherboard and just get two really good graphics cards and then you can use whatever resolution that you want.

Your eyes will start to hurt from looking at any computer screen usually but with the new flat screen your eyes will always be fine and they will never give out when you are working on your new computer with its new computer flat screen. So if you haven't bought one yet take it from I go buy one they are so worth the money.
