The Power And Importance Of Intention

By:Dwayne Gilbert

There is an extremely powerful force within each of us that can be used to create, or destroy anything and everything we desire and want. This force is the most powerful force you have within you, and it is seldom understood by most people.

So what is this force? It's intention. The force is the power of intention, and we use it all the time. Not always to our advantage, but it is always being used.

First let's talk about what intention is and is not, then move onto how it is used. Intention is the true meaning inside of you behind everything you think, say, and do. It's the real feeling and motivation that lies in your heart, within your entire being every time you think, say, or do something.

Many people never realize what the real feeling, motivation, and intention is behind the things they think, say, and do. When working with the law of attraction, intention is the most powerful force there is. It's important to pay attention to what is truly being felt, expressed, and understood as you think about, visualize about, talk about, and take action toward those things you want and desire.

Intention is not the actual thoughts themselves, the words you use, or the actual actions you take. One person may look at someone and say, "of course your my friend, I love you to death." Their intention might be to manipulate that person into believing that in order to get what they want from that person. That is their intention.

Another person may look at the same person and say the exact same thing the exact same way, but the feeling could be completely different. That would be because the intention was completely different. The intention behind the second person could be to remind that friend how they feel.

Intention is a powerful, powerful force in your life. You must learn to watch and pay attention to your true intentions with everything you think, say, and do. This is the force that runs out into the universe and helps attract back to you those things you want in your life, or pushes away those things you want.

If you visualize and talk about the things you want, but your heart and intention is really screaming that you can't have it or don't deserve it, you will never attract that thing to you. Your intentions behind doing what you do must be pure and true to what you want.

The concept of giving in order to attract what you want is a big topic within the law of attraction community. Many people will start giving donations and money when they can in order to attract more back. Their intention is to get more, and that will only push what they want away.

Instead of wanting more when you give your time, money, or any resource, focus your intentions upon that which will get you what you want. When you give money, your intention should be to let go of the desire and need for money. That is the real power in giving when working with the law of attraction.

The same is true for feeling grateful about things. If you practice being grateful in order to get more, you will not get more but instead push those things away. Learn to feel grateful intentionally because you truly recognize the value in what you currently have and where you currently are.

Pay attention to your intentions, and use your intention properly. Consciously direct your intentions in the direction of those things you desire and in a way that will allow you to open up and receive those things you desire.
