Explore Dancing with Your Inner Star
By:Christine Prokopiak
Imagine forging a bond with your inner soul friend, someone who is willing to share their deepest wisdom and secrets with you. Imagine they are ready and eager to partner you in the dance of your dreams.
Here are 4 simple steps to help green and grow such imaginings into a deep coherent partnership with your inner dancing star.
1. Put Some Spice into Your Sacred Practice
Send emails to your inner friend. Get a free email account for them. You can use fun usernames like innerpartner@yourfreemailservice.
Make sure you actually send the emails out. Pepper the virtual realm with your partner prose in order to hone your communication skills. Send love letters to your depth self, send thoughts, send requests and reminders. Use these messages for whatever tickles your fancy, as you bring your relationship with the inner partner to life in both the physical and virtual realms. Don't forget to also listen for your partner's reply.
2. Give Your Quantum Partner a Face
Create a story about your inner quantum partner, give them a name, make them real. Pure energy is difficult for humans to interact with. It's like dancing with electrical current. Try relating in a creative way.
Find a mythical entity or archetype with whom you resonate. Make them as real as possible. A fun way of doing this is to take your quantum self out on a date. Go to the movies together. Go out to dinner. Create fabulous mischief, just you and your soul friend.
If you're uncertain, experiment with different archetypes. Just as in life, some relationships work and some don't. You'll know when you find the right sizzle, the true face of your inner dancing star. You'll buzz. Your blood will sing.
A word of caution is required here. Once you begin to work on these dance steps, be prepared for some interesting evolutionary experiences. The inner partner's yearning for connection is strong. When you take your first few hesitant steps towards them, they have a strong tendency to come running towards you.
3. Give the Soul Friend a History and Personality
Now that you found an energy that resonates, use imagination musings to paint a more intricate picture of your inner self. What are their desires, their yearnings? Who would they be if they were human? What nationality, what religion? What beliefs and values would they hold? Where would they live? In what country would they have been born? Use your artist's soul to create a portrait of your deep inner flame.
4. Explore Some Unique Dance Steps Together
Try out the Penny Polka or Truffle through the Dust Shuffle. The soul speaks a different language, encoded messages found in symbol, rhythm and dreams. Begin to explore your inner partner's unique personal symbolic language and soon, instead of watching stars dancing on television, you'll be the star of your own dazzling performance.
Spiritual practice doesn't need to be boring or tedious. Why not turn it into a joy filled dance of delight! Why not take one or two of these gentle reminders and use them as opportunities to learn new ways for dancing with your inner star. Let the Dance Begin!
