1). The Reality of Imagery for Empowerment

Popular is the belief that imagery and imagination are not real. From my point of view, imagination is real: it exists in another dimension of reality than the physical. Imagery is not less real because it is less dense than a chair.
Imagery is a set of mental pictures or images. These mental images are often used to represent objects or actions or ideas.
2). Symphony of Human Dynamics

Differences are inevitable when two or more persons come together. It would be pointless and boring for two or more to come together if there are no differences. Some differences are pleasant; others can be disconcerting. Differences can accelerate to disharmony, conflict, competition, or war.
While a reasonable amount of conflict can be creative and enriching, conflict that is not properly managed can be harmful.
3). Money, Prosperity, Abundance

The Purpose of Money
Unfortunately, much of humanity is so focused on making money that it has lost sight of deeper purposes. Persons in or affiliated with traditional organizations are perhaps particularly adept at this focus on money, or, as we like to say, "the bottom line."
We are moving into a time (or are we in it?) when we can more easily see the manifestations of our false beliefs.
4). Freedom From Bondage, It is Your Choice

Issues of freedom or bondage often surface in individuals and organization. Words other than freedom or bondage may be used: e.g., powerlessness, control, victimization, safety, limitations, restrictions, trust, confinement, oppression, suppression. At the base of all these negative issues is fear. Fear, however, is more difficult for some folks to admit or face than one of these other concepts, so I find it is often wise to avoid the word "fear" which can sometimes feel like an accusation.
5). Today is an Opportunity, Hear the Knocking

Opportunity is knocking. Opportunity is knocking all the time. All the time. Listen.
Sometimes you may not hear the knocking. Or you may hear, see, or sense it and then ignore or discount it. You may, for example, be preoccupied with the absence of the opportunity you desire. You may think that you are giving your attention to the opportunity you desire, but if you are complaining or feeling sad that it is not present, then you are focused on its absence.
6). Make it New, Now

In my view, each day is an opportunity to make life anew. I often help people to create something new when I hear a story repeated again and again.
Even if I am hearing a story for the first time, I can feel the resonance of an oft-repeated saga. I start to yawn as I hear or see the needle move along the groove. Truthfully, whether this is a wonderful story or a not-wonderful story, I can feel or hear or see the pattern.
7). Let's Replace this Expression: No Pain, No Gain

We are human beings. We develop habits. We tend to believe what we hear repeatedly. We tend to believe what we say to ourselves. Teachers know this. Advertisers know this. Composers know this. Writers know this.
A New Paradigm: Grow with Joy
Now is the time for a new belief system and phrases that support this new belief system.
8). Beginnings and Endings Create Life that is New and Fresh

It seems that when I honor the ending, the beginning is more joyous. I admit, I do not always remember to honor the ending. Sometimes I just want the ending to end or the beginning to begin.
As infants, we end our time in the womb to begin our human experience. The other day, I met a less-than-one-week-old (or is that new?) baby, filled with health and wonder, beginning a new life.
9). Transformation Old to New or New to Old

I like to think of transformation as a big word for big change. Of course, everything in life is always changing, always transforming. Without change, there is no life. Even if something seems stationary or stuck, it is still moving or evolving. Sometimes you are an instrument of the change, sometimes you are a witness of the change.
10). Moving Through Puddles (Or, The Puddle Theory of Personal Development)

A "puddle" is the ultimate re-framing of a "bottomless pit" or a "dark hole" or an "abyss" or an "unfathomable chasm" or "deep yogurt" or an "empty void" or "in trouble" or -- well, you get the idea. "Moving through puddles" includes the concept of cycles, of life in constant change. We move through puddles more easily.
11). Listening Below the Surface of the Words

How well do you listen? Most people listen selectively. There is really nothing wrong with that. You can not listen to everything. In each situation, you need to determine how, what, how much, and where to listen. You can listen and learn anyplace. Life takes place in little vignettes.

13). Joy for June and DailyAffirm Positive Affirmations Day by Day

More than a superficial effervescence, joy is a deep and powerful dynamic, a consciousness in which you choose to reside or choose not to reside. Sometimes you may make your choice with stubborn determination. Other times, you may decide and then wait for the grace that allows you to experience the joyful choice.
If you believe that a certain set of conditions must be in place in order for you to be joyous, you disempower yourself.
14). Laughter, Play, Fun, Joy, Happiness

You have your own unique constructs and beliefs and views about laughter and play and fun and joy and happiness. As does each person. In this article, I focus first on the dynamic of laughter and then combine play and fun as one pair and joy and happiness as another pair to capture nuances that single words would not.

18). Are You on the Inside or the Outside of Jargon?
How do you relate to jargon? It makes a considerable difference whether you are in the inner circle that already understands that jargon, or if you are outside that circle.
