1). An analysis of role play games and social networking
I will look briefly at how the formation of social networks differs between those people who play role play games, and those who do not. I will examine in particular pen and paper role play games (RPGs) such as Dungeons and Dragons (DnD), and their later computer based descendants which include Might and Magic and World of Warcraft.
I define a role play game as one in which the players assume a character other then themselves.
2). A brief look at the impact of role play games on social networking
In this article I will take a close look at how the culture of role play games (RPGs) affects the social networks of those who play them. I will analyse the effect of older pen and paper role play games, as well as newer computer based versions, and take a close look at how the internet has impacted the social aspects of role playing.
A role play game is any game where the players assume a role other from that which they occupy in normal life.
