Different synthetic and natural materials determine the different types of shower curtains. Polyester and vinyl shower curtains are inexpensive and absolutely water proof, but may not match luxurious décor.

The interior lighting of any home space contributes hugely to the atmosphere within that space and therefore to your mood whilst you inhabit that space. First impressions count. The first thing that a visitor or potential purchaser will actually come into contact with when they reach your home and make contact with it is your door or gate hardware. By this I mean the latch on your gate, the pull of your door chimes, the button of the doorbell or the handle of the door. What could put a buyer off more than a door that is difficult to open or a handle that is not sturdy to the touch.
5). Task Lighting- Illuminating your subject
A major problem with central room lighting is that it is often not bright enough to illuminate the task you are trying to perform. There is often something between you and the source of the light, casting a shadow over what you are trying to do, making everything more difficult. The easiest way to eliminate this problem is to increase the light emitted by your current room light fixture by putting in a brighter bulb.

Curtains form the most important part of your home décor. Imagine a house without curtains. It is like a man without clothes or a flower without petals or trees without leaves. It will be an incomplete home. Curtains give your house a furnished look. They dress up your windows and, most important of all, they protect your house from sunlight and looks from unwanted people into your family peace.

Drapes are basically long curtains. They are used to dress the windows up. Window coverings come in so many varieties these days that it may be hard to decide what you want. The decision may come down to personal taste, but you can help yourself by doing some research on the different varieties of window coverings. There are many types of drapes like draw drapes, stationary drapes, lace, sheers, casual swags and many more.
8). Treat yourself and your windows.
There are many styles of curtains, shades, valances and other window treatments that you can use to dress your windows. Dressed windows add to the charm of your house and make it look gorgeous. The key is to keep things in balance rather than overpower the space with too many contrasting colors. Window treatments can cost a mint these days, especially if the person doing the decorating would like to find something which is not only practical but also aesthetically pleasing.
9). Exterior lighting - improving your lot
Everyone’s home needs some sort of outside lighting. Whether it’s to help you get the key in the lock after a night out, or to emphasise some of your favourite garden features, outdoor lighting is a must.
The most common and practical lighting fixture is one that is activated by movement or an infra-red motion detector. These can be set to become active at dusk and any movement will turn the light on.
