1). Miracle Glue And Wound Closure!
Have you ever heard of gluing a cut together? The first time I heard about this I was somewhat shocked. I was selling a product called Miracle Glue at trade shows. I had people telling all the outrageous stories possible about the origins of cyanoacrylates (superglue) - Miracle Glue is in the same category. The prevailing story was that superglue had been invented in the Vietnam era for soldiers.
2). Super Glue Vs Miracle Glue
For the last half century or so the conventional wisdom for gluing something together when you really needed it glued now was to go out and buy a small tube of superglue.
Super glue or Krazy glue have been used for repairing a thousand different things - From broken toys, to fingernails, to skin.
But it has had its problems. I’ve heard just about every complaint out there about superglue or krazy glue.
3). Dry, Cracked Heels - How To Handle!
I recently moved to Florida and off came the shoes and on went an old pair of sandals. I love the outdoors, - walking on the beach – but within a couple of weeks the skin on the back of my heels started to split. It was painful!
There were two things here - One, I had to quickly do something about the open split and figure out how it was happening.
4). Why Look For Honey In A Skin Lotion?
Why do people use a skin lotion? What are they trying to fix?
For some it’s just for the comfort level. They have dry skin or mild sunburn. The problem may be as simple as revitalizing the skin after washing the dishes. Others may have a more serious condition such as cracks in the skin of the feet or hands, acne, psoriasis or eczema.
The causes of the various skin problems can obviously be different in each case.
5). How To Fix Or Repair A Wobbly Chair With A Few Drops Of Glue
So, you have that wooden chair with one or two loose legs or rungs. The chair is too nice to throw away and you don’t want to take the whole thing apart to fix one or two loose dowels or legs. And at the same time, although you leave it out for family, when company comes the chair is always relegated to the corner to hold the planter.
Well there is a way to repair this chair without resorting to clamps or ugly nails sticking in at odd angles.
