Did you know people shoplift boxes of condoms more frequently than any other item found a pharmacy’s shelves? Think about it for a second. The reason becomes fairly obvious: people are too embarrassed to be seen with condoms in their possession, let along buying them. And perhaps you’re one of them—the “embarrassed,” not the “shoplifter,” that is… Afraid a friend might enter the pharmacy at the point of purchase.

It’s an acknowledged fact that internet users, by and large, and especially those who shop online, are savvy, and becoming increasingly so with each passing day. But what is less acknowledged, mostly to the detriment of advertisers and sellers pushing their wares, is that they’re also fed-up with the petty annoyances that obstruct their direct path to the information and products they seek.
3). eBooks: The Only Books?
Way back when the internet first learned to walk there was a famous aphorism encouraging it as it took each unsteady step: “Information wants to be free.” Well, while the internet is not old by any stretch of the imagination, it is now upright, sturdy, and racing ahead, two legs strong and insisting: “Information wants to be on the internet!” The resounding boom of this proclamation initially caused other information-related industries—namely print media and publishing—to backpedal or just plain shake.
4). Agent Tricks of the Travel Trade
I’ll be forthright: I’m not a homemaker. I feel more at ease constantly on the move, city after city, mountaintop to seaside surf, living out of my suitcase and fumbling through a foreign language phrase book, than I feel even comfy and cozy, napping on my couch on a Sunday afternoon. Perhaps I’m a little crazy, but I find it thrilling sprinting to.
