1). Is Being an Ethical Episcopalian Enough?
Once a month I take my children to a food pantry to do volunteer work. On this particular Sunday we were stocking shelves with a group of Episcopalian Youth. I knew this because each of them was wearing an Episcopal shield lapel pin. Seeing these kids really lifted my spirits. Usually it’s adults who work in the food pantry and that can become pretty boring for my kids.
2). The Essential Message of Easter
Regardless of whether you are an Episcopalian, Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist or “Christian” of some stripe, the festival of Easter is the highlight of our year. With its themes of His triumph over death and His resurrection, we prepare ourselves for the Ascension of our Lord.
It is important to remember that Salvation is not just a historical event that took place in the distant past to other people in other places.
