1). “Being a Primary Carer for a relative with Alzheimer’s disease – The Long Goodbye”
“I am a Carer”. There you go, “straight off the bat” as they say, I write this article (the first in a series) in my role as a Primary Carer first and author second. At present I am the primary carer for my elderly mother who is suffering from the advance stages of Alzheimer’s disease. It is desperately cruel disease (most are, I know) in that it robs people (by and large) of their dignity and their independence at a stage in life when they need it most.
2). International Adoption – Is it possible to Triumph from Tragedy
In the early hours of Dec 26th 2004 the Western world awoke to the unfolding horror that we came to know as the Asian Tsunami. Those of us still recovering from obscenely large amounts of food and drink from the previous day sat transfixed as we watched a horror story of biblical proportions unfold before our very eyes.
The United Nations estimated that the Asian Tsunami left more than five million people homeless, including about 1.
3). “Dad, Why can’t we get a dog as well?”
Steve Morgan describes going through the trials and tribulations that make up the ritual that most, if not all, Parents experience from time to time, which is, acquiring the first family pet.
4). The Day “Live Fast Die Young” started to lose its appeal
Somehow the youthful notion of “live fast, die young!” becomes less appealing as the days go by. Funny that, isn’t it?
I remember the day well, it all started in May 1997 with a routine (or so I thought) Doctors appointment in the morning and then the usual rounds of trying to keep clients and staff happy. It was the day of my thirty ninth birthday and so I was looking forward to the celebratory dinner engagement later that evening.
5). International Adoption, The New Frontier That Is Guatemala
In the world of International Adoption, Guatemala is one of the most popular and least regulated Countries. Last year there were estimated to have been 1,500 Guatemalan Children and Babies who have started fresh lives abroad, but the spectre of Illegal Adoptions have haunted Guatemala for years.

Even though rape involves forced sex, rape is not about sex or passion. Rape Is Rape and sadly is an everyday occurrence.
7). Online Conference Calls, An Introduction to New Technology In Practice
Conference calls can be setup using a variety of methods and fairly obviously these differ from one supplier to another. Though there may be off supplies and services you can use to set up conference calls, in the main there are just three major suppliers and their various setups.
8). Alcohol and High Blood Pressure, Fact or Fantasy
Alcohol and High Blood Pressure, wow, this is a good one (he says putting down his pint, only joking). Consuming Alcohol and High Blood Pressure as an issue is a real conundrum.
9). Coffee and High Blood Pressure, Friend or foe?
Caffeine, Good or Bad for the Blood Pressure? This is another one of those is it or is it not issues that probably by and large depends on a whole variety of associated issues but as it is one of the most regular of all of our queries I thought I would go ahead and try and provide some form of opinion.
10). Credit Debt Consolidation, Are We All Sitting On A Time Bomb Waiting To Explode?
Are we all sitting on a debt mountain that is waiting to explode? Are we all secretly trying to avoid the fact that as each day goes by we owe more and more?
11). Is It True; Is Our Society Now Bankrupt?
OK perhaps the above headline might be accused as being slightly on the sensationalist side of things but go with me slightly as I explain my reasoning and the logic behind such a potentially controversial headline.
12). Want To Lower Your High Blood Pressure? Get Yourself A Dog!
Pssst, want to positively do something about your High Blood Pressure? Get yourself a dog and walk it!

14). A Couple Of Ways To Get The Best From Your Credit Cards This Christmas
A couple of basic ways to help you stretch that already limited budget this Christmas without leaving you with financial indigestion after the Festive Season is over.
15). It Is Money That You Owe Them Not Your Life
There is no doubt about this area of debt consolidation and collection that it is indeed most controversial. Where and how does a legitimate well managed debt programme slide into the murky world of illegitimate threats and debt harassment?
16). Beware Credit Card Thieves On The Horizon!
No this is not a seasonal warning about thieves and pick-pockets (well certainly not the usual variety) but rather a heads up about the annual onslaught of direct mail from those glorious companies who have our welfare dearest to their hearts, the Worlds Credit Card Companies!
17). International Adoption And Guatemala
Guatemala is one of the most controversial subjects in the world of International Adoption today. Not wishing to add further to the controversy, it is just that adopting a child from Guatemala today can be a little tricky unless you know what you are doing.
18). Cardiac Arrest Where Death Is Not Always So Sudden
The Common myth is that Cardiac Arrests are sudden, unexpected and very often fatal. Whilst they may be sudden and mostdefinitely are fatal, research has shown that quite often they are not as unexpected as we would think.

Study after Study has appeared about the connection between High Blood Pressure and the things we eat perhaps none so as deadly as Salt?

24). High Blood Pressure And Salt Is It Essential
Sodium Chloride (the chemical name for Salt, the culinary cooking condiment not the International Treaty on Weapons limitation) is an essential element in the life of human beings. Most people think of Salt purely in terms of that little white food seasoning found in shakers on virtually very food table the world over.Just how essential is it however?

28). Property Investment - Does It Still Work?
There is nothing quite as safe as houses or so they say, but in this climate of the various stock exchanges going up and down is this totally true? Sure, the news about surging housing prices and rising interest rates is never out of the news.
Loads of Home and Property programmes swamp our daytime (and our night time) viewing on the TV schedules and where does this all lead us?
29). Do Not Make The Same Mistakes I Did!
Not everyone can be a fully fledged academic but at least today with new technology you have a head start if you equip yourself with the right tools available at your disposal. You have no idea how much time can be saved, how many spelling mistakes can be rectified without you even noticing and if you are not careful you can actually create the image that you know what you are talking about!
