1). Managing Your Mailing List
I subscribe to quite a few different email lists. I receive newsletters, links to ezine sites, special sales bulletins, articles on self improvement, and even regular updates on the progress of my favorite science fiction pictures. I'm a big fan of information, and thanks to electronic mail, I can receive loads of it on a daily basis.
It's great to open my inbox and find an insightful article that helps me put a current dilemma into balanced perspective.
2). Because I Was A Sucker
I was chatting with a friend of mine recently, and we found ourselves on the subject of my website and ebook. I rambled on about how pleased I am with the way this project is going, and he asked me: "What got you involved with internet marketing in the first place?"
I thought about this question for a second, then gave him an honest answer. "I got involved in this business because I was a sucker.
3). It's Evolution Baby
There are those people who come to the web with a solid business plan, a large amount of investment capitol, and a precise strategy for how they are going to leverage the internet and exploit the incredible revenue potential of the cyber-age. Then there are the rest of us.
Millions of people have arrived on the www. with the notion of making their fortunes, and millions more will arrive in the next two years.
4). The Value Of Associations
This past week I ran into a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in quite some time. It was good to see him again, at least for a few minutes.
Then I remembered why I stopped associating with him in the first place.
The guy has a big heart, and you can't help but love him. Unfortunately, he is also an incessant whiner.
He is always going on about how he doesn't make enough money with his job, and how things never seem to go right for him in life.
5). Solid Time Management For Net Marketers
There are an endless number of ways an individual can get organized and make the most of their time. Here is the very simple method I use to keep my day to day efforts on track.
I have created a daily checklist that covers all my basic tasks. Here is my list, and a brief description of each component.
1. Administrative Duties - First thing out of bed, I check all admin email accounts and respond to every message.
6). Why Are You Here?
Despite what the ad copy on most MLM sales pages tells you, this business is NOT easy. While everyone has their own learning curve, it generally takes a tremendous amount of solid planning and hard work to realize a profit with net marketing.
A big problem in this business is a lack of honesty. I’m not talking about scam artists or crooks here. I’m talking about the inability of individuals to be honest with themselves and realistic about what they want to achieve.
7). Definition Of A 'Lead'
You see headlines all the time about 'Hot leads' 'Fresh Leads', etc. With this kind of lingo in place, one is likely to get the idea that a 'lead' is some sort of baked good.
I'm being silly of course. I'm sure you have some idea of what this term refers to.
A 'lead' is an individual who has expressed some initial interest in your product, service, or opportunity.
8). Are We Having Fun Yet?
Sometimes it's good to have a casual day, you know? For that matter, it doesn't hurt to even take a day off once in a while.
I work really hard at building my business and keeping it in order. Honestly, I almost never take a day entirely off.
But you know what? I don't mind (most of the time) because I love what I do (again, most of the time).
Sure any form of work gets lame at times.
