  • 7). Beauty, Gratitude, and the Open Heart  By : Margaret Paul, Ph. D.
“…beauty on your earth is a shadow of the beauty of our heaven, and it’s a bitter thing to have a blindness for beauty on earth, for it makes a longer teaching to see the beauties of heaven.” Spoken by an Irish spirit in the book The Boy who Saw True (anonymous author). I have been counseling individuals, couples, families and business partners for the last 35 years, and am the author of eight published books.

  • 8). Creating Fear for Inspiration  By : Joshua Uebergang
If you have read or have been involved in personal development, whether it is goal-setting, time management, motivation, weight loss, or the many other categories and have not taken hold of what you desired, chances are that you're lacking an inner drive towards that elusive goal. You have brought books, CDs, tapes, searched the internet, and maybe even attended seminars, but yet you find that you fall short of your desire or you don't even come one step closer to what you set out to achieve.

  • 9). Don’t Focus on Failure  By : Paul M. Jerard Jr.
Internal defeat is a mindset, where you begin to believe that most new ideas will fail. You might think -”After all, what I tried in last week's Yoga class, failed.” You will always learn from mistakes. When you see them clearly as a test, examine the results, and study them closely for the reason why they went wrong. Whether it is a lesson plan, trying mantras, Hot Yoga, Gentle Yoga, a pro shop, or trying anything new, it is better to make mistakes than do nothing at all.

  • 16). Letting Go Of Perfection  By : Judy Ringer
"The power of discovery enables us to achieve excellence without having to be "perfect.'" – Thomas Crum, The Magic of Conflict I arrived at the conference center ready to present my workshop. Almost immediately I noticed the room was too small and it was not set up as requested. There were no flipcharts and there were tables, though I had specifically asked for open space.

  • 17). Give A Smile-Get A Smile  By : Doran Roggio
In today’s world of technology we do not have ample opportunity to get personal. Life is fast-paced and everyone seems to be in a rush. We dial the phone and we talk to machines. We spend long hours on the computer playing games, emailing one another or working with our web pages. Even in the office environment, we email the person in the cubicle 3 feet away instead of walking over to hand them a task list.

  • 18). What is Love and How Do I Get It?  By : Dr. Mitzi Lynton
What is love? Everybody uses the word “love” in daily conversations. There are millions of movies and songs based on love, but do we really know what it is? Here are some Greek definitions of love: Eros: romantic love of passion, physical longing, deep intensity, and intimacy. Often initial love that attracts a couple. • 21). Life according to Mike  By : fkish
About 15 years ago a good friend of mine died, he was 45 years old. He had cancer. Although we didn't meet often, I lived on one side of Australia and he on the other, but when we did there was no stopping us. We used to laugh a lot and talked for hours on end. He had a loving family, his own business, he was a happy, successful man in every way. We all knew he was going to die, yet strangely, there was no sadness in his eyes and none of us felt uncomfortable about being around him or even talking about the inevitable.

  • 24). Inspired For Women  By : Lee Down
One man can make a difference. I've been saying this and writing around this subject matter for over a decade now. It is not to the exclusion of women as I originally used the phrase in reference to mankind or society if you prefer. A decade ago, my pursuit of the quest to make a difference, to be involved, to inspire ended up taking a back seat. Survival in the moment and dealing with family and health issues took the front seat.

  • 25). Engaging in the Moment for More Effective Living.  By : Adam Eason
I spend lots of time working with individuals, corporations and businesses to get them engaged in the present moment. The reasons I think this is important in business as well as personally are drawn upon toward the end of this article. My centre here in Bournemouth used to sell a wide range of books and one that I used to stock was a book called "The Power of Now" by a guy called Eckhart Tolle.
