“Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St.Nicholas soon would be there”...
The more we read it the more we love the lines.
An evening in winter...children...the elders by the fire side...one of them is reading out “Twas the night before Christmas.
