  • 16). Our Love Of Racing  By : Shirley Bullington
There's something about our human nature that enjoys being competitive. It is built within us and almost mimics primitive behavior. We seem to have this inner desire to be the "top dog" -- doing things quicker and smarter. It is sort of like self-preservation. We desire to go the distance through all hardships and never stop. This nature is very profound in athletes but we all have it to some degree.

  • 18). Keep Your Dog In Your Yard  By : Robin Reckard
People keep your dogs in your yard, you need a fence, a chain, or a leash. Your dog running loose is an accident waiting to happen and it may not be your dog that gets hurt, it could easily be a child. Plus if your dog gets hit by a car I will feel bad, I also don't want my daughter to see it. We have a very friendly dog, most people do, but when a strange dog who also might be friendly comes up things can go wrong.

Treadmills are an essential part of any gym, as they simulate two of the best kinds of exercise there are: walking and running. While you could just as well go for a walk or run outside, a treadmill allows you to do it in a comfortable, controlled environment, where you can exactly set the speed you want and how long you want to run for, and measure your performance against the last time.

  • 23). Positive Addiction  By : Bill Thomas
We have a fellow back here who has got to be one of the most dedicated runners I've ever seen. He looks to be a Jamaican fellow, he has long dreadlocks, and is probably on the other side of 50. I live here in Baltimore which is a fairly large city. You have the city and surrounding suburbs on all sides of the city. I was out the other day and happened to see 'hey mon' on the Northern side of town running strongly in this 100+ heat wave that we've had back here on the East Coast.

  • 24). Get the Best-Fitting Running Shoe  By : Lorraine Weston
If you were going to buy a golf club, you wouldn’t walk into a store and buy the first one you see, would you? Of course not; especially if you want to improve your golf game! You’ll want to hold the club, take some practice swings, hit some balls if the store has a practice spot, and look at the price, of course. If you are considering buying running shoes, you need to go through a similar process and take the time to find the perfect shoe.
