1). What is the Root Cause of the Middle East Conflict? A Response to Bishop Riah Anglican Bishop of Jerusalem. By : Tony Pearce
On Thursday 16th March 2006 I attended a talk given by Bishop Riah, the Bishop of Jerusalem, on the situation in the Middle East at All Hallows on the Wall Church in the City of London. The bishop was introduced by Rev. Garth Hewitt of the Amos Trust who had organised the meeting.
Summary of Bishop Riah's talk.
In his talk he said that he was totally committed to cause of peace in the Middle East and that once peace comes to Jerusalem it will come to the whole world.

3). Once Saved, Always Saved? By : Scriber34
I used to think that once saved, I would always be saved. This in part because of the scripture in Romans 8:38 Where Paul makes the statement:
("For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord").

4). Judge Not! What Goes Around Comes Around By : Sharron Myers
I am sure you have heard that saying many times before, but are you aware that it is a scriptural principal. Yep, Luke 6:378 says, "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged : Condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.
Give, and it shall be given unto: good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.

5). Katrina: The Perfect Storm? By : Pastor Michael Tummillo
I've heard it said that, "As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual." Applying that statement to the displaced American victims of Hurricane Katrina, as its winds blew and the waters flooded, I cannot help but feel that the wind of the Spirit was ALSO blowing as the flood of Christians and potential world-changing survivors has now been scattered all over the nation.

6). The Da Vinci Code: What can Christians Learn from it? By : Paul M. Jerard Jr.
Dan Brown wanted fame and he has received it. However, Christianity will benefit from this controversy “in the long run.” For the first time, many people are reading and searching for factual information about Miriam of Magdala, Templars, Crusades, Inquisitions, Cathars, Gnostics, and the formulation of the early Roman Catholic Church.

In this article and the next few following, I will offer a general compilation of the most often asked questions asked of me over the years, and hopefully some sensible answers. Some answers will have solid scriptural support while others my just appeal to reason and good sense.
You could get some answers by punching up your questions on the internet, perhaps on Ask Jeeves.

9). Open Letter to Richard Dawkins and to the UK's Channel 4 Television By : Tony Pearce
I watched your programme broadcast on 16th January on Channel 4. You expressed indignation that Christians and Jews should be allowed to teach their faith to their children. Does it ever occur to you that what you believe about the origin of life is equally a ‘faith’ which is to be accepted without question by millions of children and adults who are taught it in the education system and the media?
Since none of us were there when life began everything we believe about it is an act of faith.

10). France’s Troubles: Learning from US By : Matthew C. Keegan
I know that there are some people who are celebrating France’s recent troubles with delicious glee. I guess I can understand how they feel, given France’s ongoing hypocrisy concerning the Iraq War [hmmm…whose hand is in that oil-for-food cookie jar?] and the all too common and world renowned snooty attitude displayed by many Francophiles toward outsiders.

13). Denmark Cartoons or Islamic Caricatures – Six of One or Half Dozen of the Other By : Rev. Michael Bresciani
Denmark’s Jyllands-Posten newspaper issued an apology and whisked it off to the Jordanian news agency Petra for publishing cartoons that supposedly were insulting to the prophet Muhammad. The arguments about the poor taste of the cartoonist notwithstanding, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Denmark’s prime minister says he and his government cannot apologize for the country since the newspaper is independent and not an agency of the government.

14). Christian Dating By : Graeme Ramsey
There are many people who consider Christianity a crucial pre requisite for a lifetime partnership with another person.
As there is considerable demand for Christian minded people to find a partner, there has been an increase in the number of Christian dating sites that have emerged on the Internet.
There are generally strict guidelines before people can become members of Christian dating sites and for this reason the sites tend to have a lower membership count than many of the general dating sites.

15). Middle East Peace Is An Oxymoron By : David G. Hallstrom, Sr.
The phrase Middle East and the word peace are so contradictory that when put together they become an oxymoron. An oxymoron, as defined by the American Heritage Dictionary, is "a rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined". There are very few things in this world that are more contradictory than the words "Middle East peace.
