1). Domestic Violence is Alive and Well By : Wambui Bahati
Copyright 2006 Wambui Bahati
Unfortunately, domestic violence is very much alive and well -- and thriving. According to the National Victims Center, one woman is raped every minute, and 30% of all women murdered in this country are murdered by their boyfriends or husbands.
Domestic violence is a particularly grim topic and a vicious crime, because it involves pain and suffering (even loss of life) inflicted by a friend, someone who claims to care, or a so-called loved one.

2). Human Rights And Role Of Human Right Organizations By : Ken Charnly
In the first phase - the term “Human Right” itself is a very vague and ambiguous term, with no clear-cut definition. Due to the elusiveness and ambiguity, the term has, time and again, been misinterpreted in the ways that benefit organized crimes and political parties. What leads people to not just kill another human being, but to inflict pain and torture before killing, and then mutilate the bodies afterwards? Several recent hair-raising incidents beg an answer to a question that has been raised over the centuries, whenever people have abandoned their humanity and behaved worse than the animals they claim superiority over.

7). How Can Tai Chi Offer the World a New Generation of Geniuses, and Change the World for Us All? By : Bill Douglas

A few years ago I caught part of a major network news program on genius children and their's and their parent's experiences with public schools pressuring them to place these children on Ritalin. Some of the parents being interviewed had found alternative ways to deal with their children’s issues, that didn’t involve years of drug use, such as Ritalin.
