10). Back To Home Business By : Duranki
Copyright © Michael Wooller 2006
Being of a perverse nature and having a tendency to question things, I decided to do some research on the derogatory term 'luddite' (as in " what do you mean you're not going to upgrade to XP, you luddite!"). A luddite in conventional language these days is someone who is opposed to new technology. Using this definition, a dedicated luddite would presumably do mathematical calculations using a stick and wet sand on the beach.

11). The Joy Of Becoming A Father By : blueboy
In this article I write about my joy of becoming a parent and about how my life has changed since the birth of my son. It came as quite a shock to me a few years ago when my girlfriend told me that she was pregnant. We had in truth been trying for a baby, but I never thought it would happen. I am not really sure why this was, I am stupid I know. I have to admit that I was quite scared at first but now feel very lucky and he has truly changed my life in a positive way.

12). What Is God? Where Is God? By : Margaret Paul, Ph.D.
“I have a hard time with the concept of God. I was not brought up in a religious family. I believe there is something beyond myself, but I just don’t know how to think of it or experience it.”
“I was brought up in family where God was portrayed as judgmental and punishing. I can’t even hear the word ‘God’ without feeling anxious. How am I supposed.

14). Coaching Creativity - 7 Lessons from Artists By : Suzanne Falter-Barns
Copyright 2006 Suzanne Falter-Barns
Three years ago, I was a frustrated, fed-up writer, sitting in a Starbucks in Times Square in tears. I'd gotten 27 rejections on my book - ironically enough, it was about how to live your dreams - and I was sure my own dream of being a successful author was dead. At that moment, a little voice whispered in my ear that I would only become a writer when, and if, I chose it.

19). We Reign In Life By Receiving From God By : Roger and Eileen Himes
Copyright 2006 Roger and Eileen Himes
Jesus talks a lot about ‘overcoming’ in life. This side of the cross, we are told that we overcome by receiving from God. The New Testament talks a lot about receiving from God. The Old Testament was just the opposite. It was one of giving to God: obedience by keeping the law, and by repentance, and by sacrifice and offerings.

20). The Dance of Life By : Lee Down
Waking up as a little boy the excitement for the day's adventure pumped through my veins and lit up my eyes. I'd look out the window at the bright sunshine, the hay fields, and the expansive blue skies and magical clouds. Once out in the freedom of the day, with no responsibilities, I'd hop, skip, jump, and run with joy, wonder, and excitement. Somewhere along the way, I began to remember and learned about cause and effect.

21). Beginnings and Endings Create Life that is New and Fresh By : Jeanie Marshall
Copyright 2006 Marshall House
It seems that when I honor the ending, the beginning is more joyous. I admit, I do not always remember to honor the ending. Sometimes I just want the ending to end or the beginning to begin.
As infants, we end our time in the womb to begin our human experience. The other day, I met a less-than-one-week-old (or is that new?) baby, filled with health and wonder, beginning a new life.

23). Jump Around In Joy By : Jonathon Hardcastle
One of the best ways to tone your body is actually jumping around. Not exactly as a kid does because it just received those happy news that it is going to get the bicycle of its dreams, but close enough. Perhaps the joyful screams and the happy jumping around will occur later, when you will be able to see the results of your training being reflected on your bathroom's mirror, but that is a matter of personal behavior patterns and is subject to another study and not the one relating to your fitness level.

25). Self-appreciation: The Key To Living A Life Of Joy By : Gwen Nyhus Stewart
How do you appreciate yourself? Or do you? Did you learn that being good to yourself was selfish? If you said 'No' were you bad? If you praised yourself or were praised, were people afraid you might get a 'swelled head'? Most of us get the message loud and clear that praising ourselves or others would lead to 'becoming conceited' or 'slacking off.' The tragedy of this belief is that, in fact, the very opposite is true.
