  • 1). Attaining the Right Mindset  By : Terence Young
Much of the time, we ponder over the tools that can provide us an edge in turning our dreams to reality. The tools that we would think about can be your competence to handle difficult situations, honesty or sincere efforts.

  • 18). Sales Training and the Way You Think  By : Clayton Shold
Confucius observed, "He who learns but does not think, is lost! He who thinks but does not learn is in great danger." Learning and thinking are fundamentally linked. They need to be. Let me state a working assumption, that is, people who choose to work in sales have been through a selection process to identify competencies and the individual has a realistic understanding of the sales role, responsibilities, and challenges.

  • 21). Are you finished before you start?  By : Clayton Shold
A colleague and I were in conversation recently when he shared a very profound statement, "You can be finished before you start." We were talking about the power of one's mind, more specifically about ones sales mindset. Eugene was relaying an exchange he had many years ago when he was a pharmaceutical sales rep. • 23). How are sales like jump-starting your car?  By : Clayton Shold
I hope it has been some time since you last had a dead battery. It's not a lot of fun, especially if it is pouring rain and you don't have a set of jumper cables. Most people know a battery has a positive and a negative terminal. When jump-starting a car it is very important to know which is which. If you don't connect the negative terminal on one battery to the negative on the other, and then do the same with the positive connections, one can do serious damage to the battery and alternator.
