If you read enough previews, you’ll see any or all of the four teams picked to win the division title, and realistically, any of them could make a late-season run to the Super Bowl if everything goes right. One thing IS for sure – it’s going to be a rough and tumble race to the top of the NFC East in 2006.

As we enter the time of year when everything gets very quiet in the front offices of teams around the NFL, there’s a good opportunity to take a look at how teams have improved, or not improved, as we head into the home stretch before training camp begins.
Today we’ll take a look at the NFC North, and there could be some surprises in this division come fall.

3). How They Stack Up - The NFC West In July By : Jay Nault
Many see the Seattle Seahawks as the “landlords” of the NFC West, and that’s probably a correct assumption. The team got all the way to the Super Bowl last season, and their personnel losses appear manageable. However, there is always the prospect of a “Super Bowl loss hangover,” as that has ruined other teams’ seasons the following year, and two other teams in particular could be on the verge of achieving big things in the division.
