  • 2). Your Mediocre Mind  By : Lee Down
Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. ~ A. Einstein I've always had a love affair with that particular quote. Today, while doing some organizing I came across my favorite quote again. As I looked at it, a higher level of awareness sang out a deeper meaning than I'd ever recognized in the past. Realizing we are spiritual beings, we each have a Great Spirit within us crying out for a well-lived life without fear, without compromise, without limitation.

There are seven critical features necessary for even moderate success. Should any of these features be at a low ebb, then you will find yourself living a life of quiet desperation and bitter failure. Ironically, these key elements can be healed with some sustained effort. Alternatively, should you be able to raise all seven levels of personal power, you will find yourself living in a whole new world, where success becomes the norm rather than the exception.

  • 4). To Know is To Not Know  By : Lee Down
This is truer than people might realize. Dig deep, there is a significant powerful truth buried in this statement that can redefine life and create more positive and powerful experiences. As we navigate life, become educated in society, and learn from experiences we inevitably think we know. We know what people are like, we know what this means and that means, we know what to expect, and we know what will be good and what will be bad.

  • 10). A Place of Sanctuary - Creating Sacred Space  By : Gwen Nyhus Stewart
The World Health Organization (WHO) describes health as “the condition of perfect bodily, spiritual, and social well-being and not solely the absence of illness and injury.” As described by the WHO, how many of us feel emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually healthy on a daily basis? We work in structures called ‘sick-buildings;’ we go home to care for families so tired we are almost unable to function; and we increasingly lose our connection with any sense of our place in the universe.

  • 12). The Dance of Life  By : Lee Down
Waking up as a little boy the excitement for the day's adventure pumped through my veins and lit up my eyes. I'd look out the window at the bright sunshine, the hay fields, and the expansive blue skies and magical clouds. Once out in the freedom of the day, with no responsibilities, I'd hop, skip, jump, and run with joy, wonder, and excitement. Somewhere along the way, I began to remember and learned about cause and effect.

  • 13). Personal Power Through Self Study  By : Steve Gillman
Personal power comes not just from money or position. It isn't just about how much you can affect the people and things around you. It starts and ends with how much you learn about yourself. It isn't about a narcissistic self knowledge, but a deeper understanding of how your body and brain functions. You can more effectively use a computer when you know how it works.

  • 15). Loving You  By : Lee Down
The difficulty in finding love that is good for you stems from the same difficulty you have loving yourself. For those who believe in God or a higher power, to not love yourself is to not love the very source of your existence. To not trust yourself is to not trust the source of all life. To not forgive and have compassion for yourself is to not have forgiveness and compassion for others created from the same source.

Copyright 2006 Audrey Burton I was taught repeatedly in my sales training that if you don't ask for the sale, you won't get it.
