  • 1). How to Be Fearless  By : Saleem Rana
What is fear? When we were studying emotional imbalances in school, my professor, said fear is an acronym called F.E.A.R. It means a False Estimation Appearing as Real. We project into the environment our feeling of insecurity and see in it dangers to our well-being. Yet the reality out there has too many variables for us to predict it. Thus, all our anticipations are based on our insecurity, rather than a sudden clairvoyance. With the proper mindset, determination, and will power, you can conquer your fear.

Travel phobia is a particular form of anxiety that may occur after a person has been involved in some kind of accident, maybe a road or rail crash. They may have escaped physically unscathed from the incident, however they might well have perceived it as a potential threat to their well being, physical health or indeed life. Anyone suffering from travel phobia is likely to avoid travelling as much as is possible.

  • 11). Conquering One’s Fears  By : Joan Winthorp
Fear is a barrier towards living one’s life to the fullest. All people fear something. Some people fear death, getting married, closed areas, being alone, spiders, cats, dogs, etc. It is normal to fear; however, there are certain phobias or fears which could really be hindrances in living one’s life normally, and these should be treated. Fear of tigers, for example, is a fear that is not necessarily going to affect one’s daily life, not unless he lives in the jungle where tigers abound.

  • 15). A Brief Musing on Phobias  By : Patrick Omari
The chances of you being involved in an airline accident are 1 in 11 million! Considering the frequency in which we get into a car and drive about busy roads, of which the chances of being in an accident are 1 in 5000, the fear of flying suddenly becomes quite an irrational fear.
