  • 3). Bizarre travel guide  By : Mansi gupta
Carrying a travel bag and looking around the places of historical and sculptural importance. Is that what you conceive as a holiday? If yes you haven’t seen or heard enough. The traveling experience can be more than rewarding if the choice of the places to visit is bizarre. And more so going to those untouched places can be one hell-of an experience.

  • 13). Hubble Telescope  By : George Royal
One of the most important telescopes in the history of astronomy, the Hubble telescope has allowed observers to peer farther into space than any previous telescope. By moving outside and above the atmosphere of the earth, the Hubble telescope has been able to observe visual data much more clearly than a terrestrial telescope, and it has been able to see much farther into the ultraviolet and infrared spectrums as well, since these spectra are largely absorbed by the earth’s atmosphere.

  • 14). The Earth is a Hot Rod  By : Richard Monk
For many years it was believed the Earth was the center of the Universe. Alas, this was disproved for a number of reasons including the fact the planet was moving quickly through space. The Ultimate Turbocharged Vehicle Once our egotistical view of being the center of the universe was disproved, the goal of figuring out how fast we are moving through space came front and center.

It would appear that we now have three new planets in the solar system. If you save up a lot of frequent flyer miles, you may be able to go where no man has before with them. Save Up Those Frequent Flyer Miles And Go To Space In the world of science, there has been a great debate going on about a fairly basic issue in the universe. The issue? What exactly is a planet? It turns out nobody has really been able to agree on the definition with the particular sticking point being the object known as Pluto.

  • 20). The Man Who Brought America to the Moon  By : K.Z.
On October 4, 1957, Russia launches the first artificial satellite in history - Sputnik. To many Americans this is a shocking event. Few days later Werner von Braun, America's leading rocket scientist, says in an interview: "We consider the control of space around the earth much like, shall we say, the great Maritime powers consider the control of the seas in the 16th through the 18th Century, and they say if we want to control this planet, we have to control the space around it".

Every era through out history has had a belief as to what the "heavens" are made form. The Greeks believed that the stars and space were made of a material called "Quitenses", and other culture once thought that the stars were made of their peoples passed away.

  • 25). Dark Autumn: Book Review  By : write 2 right
Now this could definitely be a movie! Dark Autumn is fantastic action-packed futuristic thriller that had me riveted for days. The energy was kept very high throughout the book. Occasionally Clint Dunshee’s characters performed seemingly super-human tasks, similar to James Bond or Dirk Pitt. However, the reader is also shown their flaws and the strength of intimate friendships – bonds that are so deep they are willing to risk their lives for them.
